I am a bit confused.
If you take the test in June, you can apply anytime after that. Are you interested in school in Spring 2008? Also, you need to consider application deadlines.
Questions:
1) When do you want to start to attend school? (month-year)
2) Do you want to attend part time or full time?

I believe the Fordham program might be a bit more well known. If looking for a cheap option, consider the CUNY school Baruch also. I think in order, Fordham, Pace, Baruch. They might all be around the same though.

The course was good. However, I think the effort I put in after the course is what got me my score. I did not use the MGMAT challenge problems. During the class I did the homework in only the OG Verbal and Quant books, leaving OG 11th edition for after the class (I took the test 2.5 months after the...

I had a similar problem swallowing my pride and moving on, but i found it must be done. If I was not already on the road to an answer by the time i was more than 1.5 minutes into question, I started to eliminate answers and made my best guess and moved on.

Pachyderm, You say "I was mostly suprised by my poor quant. score, since I've done relatively well when I practiced problems at home. On the test day, I totally lost pace during the quant."... did you ever try a full practice exam, or did you just practice problems? I think you just need t...

I am no expert, but have been researching top school requirements. I think a 700 puts you in a COMPETATIVE position. You are around the average GMAT of the student profiles of the top schools. Most people looking to get into a top 10 school aim to break a 700. I was aiming for a 700+. The first time...

I agree I think your technical background would actually compensate for the quant (which is a great score still). It might be an issue if you had a low quant score and NO quant background. Seems like if you timed yourself better you would have certainly broke the 700 mark. I had a lot of trouble mov...

I DID IT (720) the second time around!
This time I did it! I scored a 720, 96th percentile overall (90th percentile quant/85th percentile verbal/96th percentile overall) yesterday. Same as the Beat The GMAt site admin. Anyway, I was expecting to do much better on the verbal and not as well on the quant, but I will take it! The first time...

Thanks for your interest. I think the tricky part lies in 2/3 are pigs OR cows, not pigs AND cows.
I am not sure how to double check a GMATPrep question.

It is 1 to 10.
I see I got the trend right, but do I still have to add all 10 terms? Once I get the 10 terms, I think I a missing the shortcut to add them.
Thanks for your response.

GMAT Prep Test Q
I thought I knew the answer to this, apparently not. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Of 60 animals on a farm, 2/3 are pigs or cows. How many are cows? (1) The farm has twice as many cows as pigs (c = 2p) (2) The farm hs greater than 12 pigs (p > 12) I thought the answer was A, but it is ...
