Good call - question stem is exclusive of 0 and 2 while 1) includes them...

Since in 1) x can =0 or 2 we fall outside range in question stem.

Ans should then be E - agreed!

I heard that the GMAT will accept an answer on last question without physically clicking "submit". Is this true? If so, and assuming I can finish early ...I was thinking that in order to extend my break between essays and Quant and/or Quant and Verbal I would select the answer for the last...

the biker goes 20-4 = 16mi/hr faster, so he is gaining 16mi on the biker per hour...

16 mi/hr*1 hr/60mins*5 mins = 16/12 mi to catch up = 4/3 mi

4/3 mi / 4 mi/hr = 1/3 hr = 20 mins

if rectangle has ratio of 2:3 then 2x+3x+2x+3x = 10x is total perimeter. Then square has sides of 2.5x = 5/2x

so area is (2x*3x)/((5/2*x)*(5/2*x)) = 6/(25/4) = 6*4/25 = 24/25
