The biggest challenge in RC is your ability to read the passage and understand exactly what you just read. This in normal circumstances is doable. However, when you have been staring at the computer screen for the last 2.5 hours trying to write essays, solving some crazy quant questions and attempti...

You actual GMAT score should be between +/- 20/30 points of your GMAT Prep score. The assumption is that you are able to handle the test as efficiently as you handled the practice test (nerves are calm during test and you are not overly nervous or burnt out) and that your GMATPrep was taken in test ...

IMO, no one can suggest an ideal plan to you in a post. Since you have taken the GMAT once and you know your strength and weaknesses, the best way for you is to go through the numerous fantastic debriefs on the forum that have got people their dream scores.. Eric's, ngufo's etc. Since you have enoug...

IMO, stop taking PR's. They don't help as much as MGMATs. Also you can't compare PR scores with MGMAT's as the algorithms might be different. The next time you take another MGMAT, you would get an idea of your improvement or decline. If you score is within +- 10/20 points of say MGMAT2 then you are ...

Sue, Is GMAT necessary for a Master in Management or is GRE more valid? Just a thought. For improving your verbal strategy, I feel that you are doing the mistake everyone does, not focusing deep into the reasons why you get questions wrong. For e.g. if you get a CR wrong, you have to read the 'entir...

rowbus....sorry to hear about your score..it is definitely below your expectations. Though I'm no advocate of MGMAT but IMO and in a lot of my friends opinions (most of whom have scored pretty well), Princeton review scores are at least 50-100 points lesser that your actual GMAT score. In that sense...

I took a test a day before the test and just analyzed each question, tried to solve the quant questions i didn't get right and tried to search the forum for any explanations of the verbal section that i wasn't sure of. The day before the test I just revised basic concepts for a couple of hours....ev...

Yes, the actual score usually falls between +-20 points of your GMAT Prep, that is if you took the GMAT Prep under test conditions. Just take the exam once again before the test. And yes, be aggressive but calm while taking the actual test and you should be able to score a 680 with a little bit of l...

First of all, you haven't specified whether you were doing OG Quant questions from the easy bin (first half) or the hard bin(last half). If you were doing the easy bin then the OG questions are way more easier than MGMAT CAT as well as actual GMAT questions. I have taken all MGMAT CAT's. The questio...
