Wow this is fantastic! Hearty congratulations :D Well, actually EMBA at Duke is probably ranked higher at least as far as FT rankings go which ranks Duke's EMBA program at 10 and kellogg's at 17. Note that the Kellogg/HKUST EMBA program is ranked #1 but i think its help in HK. I may be totally off h...

If you are sure that you require the courses or that the courses will improve your candidacy - only then you need to take these courses. But in case you are planning to take a Math course, UCLA has a course (online i believe and makes it easier to attend) called MBA Maths or something sounding simil...

Hi Ahirjoy, Congratulations on your score. I definitely don't think your score is low or that you were beaten by the gmat. I think 660 is a good score! So now that GMAT is out of the way (assuming you are not re-taking it) I wanted to wish you all the best with your applications! But first take some...

Hi Alex, Congratulations on your decision to apply to business school and welcome to BTG! :) To answer your question - yes your profile is good for the Top 10 schools but this doesn't mean anything at this point of time. I agree with the above post. I would also like to add that make sure the skills and experience that you put on your resume are transferable. If you have been working on say xyz technology for 5 years then put it in a way that makes sense to the reader (who has no info on the subject) and in a way th...

edirik, Sorry to hear that your score was below what you expected. But don't loose hope. Take a few days to replenish and relax then get back to your preparation. I think you are a quant genius so i'd suggest that you focus 65% of your prep time on verbal. Start from the basics. MGMAT's SC guide wou...

Hi valleeny, This is a very sensitive thing to do and it can go either ways. It can also backfire into you. I believe the essays and the interview are the best place to present your candidacy. Sending a personal mail can sometimes hamper your chances and might do more harm than good. Make sure you r...
