@maihuna... I did the GMAT focus 3 sets...ok..nothing great... but boy, be prepared to write that mail...although its 2 months since my gmat and since 3 months since i tried Gmat Focus, i still remember at least one DS that was in common with OG...65 USD is huge fr the value that u get out of it [:)]

Dude,

I myself went from 640 to 620 in 2nd attempt.

But I pulled up myself for one last time and scored 720 in 3rd attempt with the 80-80 split.

till 2 weeks back, i was in the same situation...

my 3rd attempt was when i scored v40 or above across 10 full length exams...be prepared ...dont think abt any specific score..just give ur best...

I don't about earlier time, but GMAC should give at least 5 minutes for this....

Again the 2minute slic from a 10-minute break, I was running around during the breaks literally...Out of anxiety, my actual breaks turned out to be less than 4 minutes...

Peace fellas. @arti ... one of the good ways to improve verbal(according to me) is keep on writing and reading the GMAT way at least till is over. If you think that this should directly translate to a better verbal or a gmat score, maybe NO. But for sure, you will be just know when something is wron...

Well if you have scored 600 in MGMAT and 510 in GMAT Prep1, then time get dirty and go over the mistakes and improve your weaknesses...

Try avoiding the next test till you think that you have covered your major weaknesses...

You dont need new editions dude..

Goto 2nd hand shops something like we have in Bangalore, Avenue road. Get older editions and start reading....

I tried reading Times of India...English is horrible... :P

But NY times on web is decent enough...
