Definitely exercise! I exercised on both days preceeding my test and it worked a treat. Don't overdo it, but do just enough to get rid of the nervous energy and to make you slightly tired. With all the endorphins that get released, you'll be calm on the big day.

You can't take ANYTHING in to the testing room with you so a chit will be a no-no. You will be presented with drop downs for search criteria which produce a shortlist of program/schools and you select from that list. I found typing in exact names of schools didn't work very well, what worked better ...

Just concentrate on the question in front of you as if your life depended on it. Forget the one before it and the next one coming up and don't stress about the difficulty level of the one in front of you.

I'm in Management Consulting and prepped for my GMAT from Feb to June. I was lucky that in all of that time I didn't do much travel, just had the typical 10-12 hour day. I guess it depends on how much you want it really. I scored 540 on my GMAT first time round and knew that if I didn't do it this y...

And the pens keep on running out! So every now and then you should try and remember to put the caps on the pens.

I took mine in the UK last week and it was white too.

I had taken the Veritas course and the squares on the day were bigger than the Veritas supplied scratch paper.

My pens kept on drying out though, that was more of a pain than the paper!

Sorry, I should've written! I was a bit elated yesterday. So as mentioned in my original post my scores up until then had been: GMATPrep 1 - 640 Manhattan - 660 Manhattan - 700 Manhattan - 680 I then took another two Manhattan tests where I scored 720 and 690. I then retook GMATPrep1, on the Sunday ...

No, not in the MLT program.

I think 650+ will make me competitive where I want to get in to and I guess I'm trying to take some of the pressure off myself so that if I get 650-ish I won't be too unhappy. But if I get over 650 I'll be rather pleased :o)

Many thanks for the advice osirus0830.

I definitely aim to take a CAT once a week and was even thinking of taking one on the Tuesday before the test because as I mentioned I prefer to be doing GMAT related stuff rather than not.

Pardon my ignorance but what did you mean by '650...MLT?'

Less than 1 month to go - what should I be doing?

Hello everyone, Really appreciate this forum and the advice provided on it, it's an absolute lifesaver! OK so I've been prepping for the GMAT since early 2010 and have it booked for Friday June 4th. That is my absolute drop dead date as due to personal circumstances I know I won't be able to study a...

Online Practise Tests

Could someone guide me to resources on the web (paid or otherwise) which provide online practise tests especially those that are as close to the possible questions that may come up on the test-taking day. Have already used up resources from books such as princeton, kaplan, petersons etc. But would l...

Help! Got 540 first time....need to get 650.

Hello all, I took my GMAT last week and got a 540 (Q34, V31) :o( Therefore I didn't even bother applying for any B-schools. My studying had been based on the Princeton Review book and I took a week long Veritas Prep course. I took practice tests and was getting 600/610 so quite disappointed by my fi...
