explanation:
first 3 students == a, b, (a+b)/2
4th student == 1/3 [ a+b+ (a+b)/2] = (a+b)/2
a, b, (a+b)/2, (a+b)/2
5th student == 1/4 [ a+b+ (a+b)/2 + (a+b)/2] = (a+b)/2
it goes on... from 3rd student onwards, everyone draws (a+b)/2

to me it seems answer is E
assuming square side = a, Hexagon size = b
a^2 = (3 * sqrt 3)/2 * b^2
=> 4a/6b = 2/3 * sqrt [ (3* sqrt 3) /2)]
or can be put this way: 4a/6b = (sqrt 2)/ 3 * [sqrt ( 3 * sqrt 3)]
its not matching with option A, B, C..
OR, am i doing something wrong?

A, D, E are simple to eliminate I was little unsure between B and C. but when I re-read C, I realized that C definitely helps, as it talks about revising the scale to measure the pollution B is the answer because it just talks about invention of "more accurate gas spectrometer" but it rema...
