I think C is correct.Because it reasons in the argument that zooplanktons feed other animals,declines in pop. are inevitable.
B is just talking about the eating habits which is not mentioned in the CR.How can u assume tat it is affecting their eating habits?

What we should look for in the question is whether x is even or odd.
from 1) x can be 4(even) or 9(odd).so not sufficient.
from 2) we see that x is even, coz even*odd = even and 3 is odd. sufficient.

Simpler solution with the formula for mixtures
(%Men - Overall%)/(Overall% - %Women) = no. of women(W)/no. of men(M)
W/M = 3/4
so W=600,M=800

as we see for a repitition with 8 we shud first see how many such n are thea b/w 1 and 8. here u get this to be 5 so total number of n = 96/8 *(5) = 60.
pbability = 60/96 = 5/8

here 15 is the number of ppl with either one of the two cars so P(AUB) is not 15 , rather it is 15 + P(both A and B).....equate this and get the answer as 6.
