Let Fox jeans discount rate be x and
Pony jeans discount rate be y
Then acc to question,
(X/100)*3*15 +(Y/100)*2*18= 9
or, 5x+4y=100. -. (1)

Also,
X+Y=22. (2)

From 1 and 2

Y=10

Re: What is the units digit of the three-digit integer N?

1) Consider the number 654 When rounded to nearest hundred , it gives 700 When rounded to nearest ten ,it gives 650 Diff = 50 But while rounding to nearest place , unit place can have values 4,3,2,1 All of the above unit place values can provide the answer.. So INSUFFICINT 2) Alone is INSUFFICIENT O...

Premise says - supply of graduates remained same between 1970's and 1980's but still their pay was 43% higher than diploma holders in 1980's compared to 18% higher pay in 1970's We have to resolve the paradox ... We can infer that that either demand of the graduates increased in the timeline or some...

Re: If it took Carlos 1/2 hour to cycle from his house to the library yesterday, was the distance that he cycled greater

1) Distance =speed x time =(16/5280)x3600/2 5.4 but it can be 5.4 so NO also it can be 7 so YES INSUFFICIENT 2)distance =(18/5280)x3600/2 =6.01 when 6.01 then YES but when 5.5 then NO INSUFFICIENT. ON COMBINING, we wont get any specific value. so IMO ans :E

Re: If \(M\) and \(N\) are integers, is \(\dfrac{10^M + N}3\) an integer?

1) M can be any integer coz 10/3 will always leave 1 as remainder.
since N=5 then 5/3 leaves 2 as remainder.
so 1+2/3 will leave NO remainder.
so the whole expression will be an integer.
SUFFICIENT.

2)with changing values of N, we will get different remainders.
so INSUFFICIENT.

IMO
