the answer is e, the prime has to be larger than 40. why, because h(100)+1 cannot be divisible by 2,4, 6,8, ....,96, 98, 100, and therefore it is not divis by 2,3,4,....48, 48, 50.

you can post this on gmatgremath.blocked if you want a gmat tutor's official answer, but i think e is correct.

the mgmat has the hardest of the real gmat questions. on the real gmat, if you are doing well, you will see hard problems and medium problems.

i think there are 8 ways to put 4 letters in the envelopes to make only one be the right letter. there are 4 ways to choose the right letter, and then only two ways to scramble the remaining 3 ltters so that none of them match. then 8/24 = 1/3 is the right answer becoause there are 24 ways to do the...

if the ordering part is confusing to you, look at answer D, 71. 71 is less that 73 and 82. it's less than 2 out of the 8 numbers in the list, so it's less thatn 1/4. 71 is greater thatn the 6 of the numbers inthe list. 6 out of 8 is 3/4. go here if you need really detailed answeres, it's a gmat tuto...

no need to focus on the first 20, first 10 first 5, all the questions count equally and if you don't finish the test, your score is lowere than if you answer the quwstions wrong. use that as a motivator :)

i thinkk its [b]D[/b]. subtract 120000 from Anns numbers and add it to Cal's numbers and you'll get the conditions that the problem asked for.
