The verb tense stugglles here are very nice. Regardless of what the tense "WILL" or "WOULD" the negation still works. We are picking the best out of the five not the perfect. We can sit back and name off 100 assumptions but we have to clearly delete the ones we know are wrong. So...

I am seeing splits in the OG SC questions and they deal with 1.) Rather than and 2.) Instead of. Are there any specific differences?

TO BE
We can all agree that the gmat hates the word BEING. In regards to this, the word TO BEING is the sibling of the word BEING. Hence shouldnt this choice a be out of the picture?
In og, you can easily see that TO BE is almost always ruled out.

Karen thank you. I understand that subjunctive mood does require the word THAT. However, in order to please the subjunctive requirement we are stampeding over the REQUIRE X TO DO Y idiom.
