AWA part of GMAT - what is the score?

I have read that after the GMAT you are allowed to see your score (unofficial). Does that include the AWA portion? And if not, in the future when the score becomes "official" can it lower it? For example, if they say I have a 400, and I did really bad on the AWA portion, can my official sc...
