Like/As

Was a little confused as why "as" should be used instead of "like". Maybe I have the rule confused. In Turkey, coffee is traditionally drunk very strong, much as the French do . A) much as the French do B) much like the French do C) much as it is by the French D) much as it is in...

Last Days Before the Test

Any tips for what type of studying I should be doing the last few days before the test? Specifically what, if anything, should I do the day before the test and the day of the test? My test is Monday afternoon.

I just completed a practice exam which I am about to review.

Took another GMAT practice today

Q:29
V:40
Total 570

Haven't reviewed the Quant yet but no ideal how I got a 29, pretty discouraging. I felt the questions were a little too easy while taking the exam.

Just completed another Kaplan CAT which I haven't reviewed in depth yet. Q:40 V:39 Total 650 I was really surprised I even did that well in Quant, I thought I had really struggled with it. At first glance it does look like I got a lot of answers wrong in that section. Looking even further it looks I...

Just completed another Kaplan Cat:

Q: 41
V: 35
Total: 630

I haven't reviewed it yet but I was dissapointed with my Verbal score, I did notice however that had lots of extra time left for the last 4 or so verbal questions.

Apologies for not being more clear with my question and not posting the possible answers but it looks like you guys figured it out. I was a little confused whether or not there was any kind of rule for when you add or subtract exponents in these cases. For instance in the first question when trying ...

Struggling at the end

When taking practice exams I find myself struggling with questions at the end of each section. Sometimes it is because I haven't left myself enough time but other times I make stupid mistakes because my brain is fatigued. Any recommendations on how to beat this fatigue at the end issue? Yes, I alway...

1) 2^5+2^5+3^5+3^5+3^5= ?

2) 10^8-10^2/10^7-10^3=?

Could someone explain how to solves these problems and rules behind them? Thanks

Ok perfect. So now, to break 650 with some margin for error you need about 5 or 6 more section points, which means about 6 more right answers. No big deal. You have more than two weeks to get better at 6 to 8 things so that you lock up those 5 - 6 section points. One way to achieve that would be to...

How much time on IR

Given that it does not contribute to one's total score, how much time should one spend studying IR compared to Quant and Verbal?
