Re: Nice Advice
Thank you for sharing your experience and giving away the best advice I have ever got on test-taking. I will remember to stay confident and not try to evaluate my performance during the test. Nice lines - I will memorize them. :) I am planning to take a date soon. I plan to take my test before the ...

Beat the GMAT (740 Q47/V44)! Thanks and a few questions....
Overall 740 (97th percentile) Q47 (79th percentile) V44 (97th percentile) I took the exam on Wednesday and I am really pleased with my score considering I was questioning how I was doing during the exam. I thought I had bombed the Q section considering the last several questions I tried to solve but...

Listing schools to send your scores to
Taking the GMAT on Wed. Just had a quick question. On test day, when you enter the schools you want to send your scores to, does the exam have the schools listed by name or do you need to have some sort of school code. Also, I'm applying next fall, not this year. Should I wait until I actually apply...

They say you can do this while the test directions are up. Is there actually time to do this before you start each secti...

Which strategy is better?
Is it better to spend as much time as necessary (even up to 5 minutes) to solve each problem when I know I can do it (but not necessarily in two minutes), then end up having to do complete guesses on the last 5-7 questions to finish or.... if I take too long on a problem, just fill in an answer, and...

How hard are the Kaplan tests?
I just took a Kaplan CAT and got a 560. So far I've gone through all of PR and halfway through Kaplan. My first two tests were both PR and I got 590s on both but made the critical mistake of leaving 8 or so questions left unanswered on Math. I'm working on that obviously and I paced myself better th...

need a good study plan
I'm in no time crunch to take the GMAT since I'm not applying till next fall. However, I've started studying to get it out of the way. I haven't set a target date because I don't want to rush my studying and I want to give myself as much time as I need to prepare. I imagine my general target is seve...
