I took the CAT and did nowhere near the 550 goal. I got a 360 , 24 on quant and 17 on verbal. I'm somewhat bummed, but at the same time my confidence isn't shot. There were a few stupid mistakes. I'm actually quite surprised I did better on Quant than Verbal, at the end of quant I felt I messed up a...

Curious, how good are the questions on GMAT prep program you can download from The Official GMAT website? Are they similar to test questions, or is the OG best to practice off of?

Thanks! Yes, I note the problems so I can go over it again in the future. I also try to ask myself why I chose the wrong one. Just curious, what is it that we should be asking ourselves when doing CR problems such as: 1. Assumption 2. strengthen/weaken 3. Evaluate 4. Boldface 5. Inference Like for e...

Trouble with CR
Hey everyone! I went over CR today, and as for right now i'm taking my time and trying to train my brain how to attack the problems. I wrote notes on how to do and how to attack each type of CR problem. In the MGMAT prep material, the problems seem easy. However, when I get to OG problems i'm having...

Meanwhile, if I did get the 550, I would then use the next few m...

CR problem types in OG
I'm working on CR and would like to practice like 10 weaken problems for example, then 10 Strengthen, etc. to get a hold of the wording for each type of problem. I'm trying to work with the OG 2016, but it doesn't list the problem types. It only says 3 types: 1. Evaluation of a plan 2. Argument Evalu...

OG Guide 2016
I have the OG guide 2016 and yeah it has a lot of problems, but so far i'm working on the math problems and the explanations are absolutely horrible! How is everyone getting around this? Anyone recommend a book that has the same type of official GMAT questions but with way better explanations?
