Therefore, when a bean dish’s quality is more important than the need to cook that dish quickly, beans should not be presoaked. Which one of the following is an assumpt...

Thanks Bhavik. It's more of a time management thing. It looks like I'll now need to allocate more time to IR than I thought I did. Thanks again for the insight.

Thanks Bhavik.
That's kind of scary. In terms of the stats, what kind of evidence about the applicants is IR providing for the schools beyond just a score?
Do you know how the adcoms are using it?
Also do you know which schools are giving it more weight?

The way I've been trained to break down assumption questions really helps. With each option, you ask yourself, "if I were to take the opposite, would the argument collapse?". Opposite of option C Well-behaved students share a particular trait, such as a desire to socialize with other well-...

Hi Brent, and Rich,
Thank you for your suggestions. I took a peek at your videos, and kudos to each of you. These are definitely a step up from gmatfree.com, and some of the other garbage out there

AdCons: Are any schools starting to look more at IR?
I understand that when IR was first introduced schools weren't looking at it, but that was years ago. Has their been any shift from what you're seeing?
Thanks!

Hi Marty,
Yeah, I see what you're saying. The theorists are speculating that the 365 earthquake caused the collapse, that's the part that isn't certain. I think I was conflating the two.
Thanks!

Hi Rich,
Thanks for asking. I'm just looking for some videos that get to some x-factor, if you know what I mean. I found some videos for GMATfree.com, and they were so dull I quit ambien cold turkey.
Do you know of any videos that get at deeper tips or insight?

Hi Marty, I see what you're saying. I gotta be technical here though. The earthquake is not KNOWN to have occurred. It is hypothesized. C just merely echoes that hypothesis, so it adds no new information helping to prove that the earthquake caused the destruction. B is the only option that provides ...

Hi Mitch, Thank you for your response. Here's the thing though. I'm doing pretty well so far in CR, usually getting about 90% right. What I've encountered so far with the OG, and GMAT prep is that answers like C "many customers" or "a study shows" are wrong, if not universally. W...

GMAT YouTube Video Recommendations?
I'm not making YouTube a core part of my prep, but I'm just curious if anyone has any YouTube GMAT video recommendations? Most of what I found was pretty horrendous. I've always found the YouTube search system pretty weak, so I just wonder if anyone has found anything decent? Thanks for any recommen...

United Shipping Co: Manhattan GMAT
Because of rising costs, United Shipping Company raised its rates by ten percent last year. Many of its customers balked at the increase, however, and turned to a rival company whose rates were lower. In response, United Shipping Company began offering a package of services for a single rate that, t...

Hi rastis, But not necessarily. That's why it's still E. With the combined information, there's still a chance that if takes 28 minutes to grill the steaks, and the people arrive in 25 minutes, the steaks wouldn't be ready. Since we can't say completely sufficient, it has to be E. Does that makes se...
