Hi rmt99e, I found the Manhattan tests to be very helpful for me. I poked around in the Manhattan materials at Barnes and Noble and I thought they seemed thorough, but I noticed that the questions at the end of each chapter are more like 1 line drills. Maybe there was something I missed, but it didn...

490 to 740, Verbal 45 - The GMAT Crush Fest
Hi staunch, You're welcome. I actually don't know if I'd recommend using the LSAT material to prep for the GMAT if I were starting out from scratch. I happen to have my Test Masters LSAT books from the course years ago, so using that material wasn't by design. On the plus side, the questions tend to...

Viceroy, Thanks. which other books are you going to refer before appearing to exam ? Well, I'm hoping that the OGs are enough for now. I'm reviewing the questions a couple of times, but I'd be lost without these forums because the explanations are really not very helpful. I might start ordering som...

Ha! When I read the title of your post, I thought you were saying "Why not me. Why can't I get a 700 and get accepted?". This was not what I was expecting to read at all. Congratulations on the score and getting in to CBS. That's the dream. Were you able to get any scholarship funding? I'm...

A classic official example of the NOUN + PREPOSITIONAL PHRASE + WHICH: "Emily Dickinson’s letters to Susan Huntington Dickinson, which were written..." The verb in the "which" clause is "were," so we know that "which" is plural, and must therefore have a pl...

Hi rashirocks, I've been very systematic about verbal, and I've gone from 31 to consistently 42 or better. I prepped a little for the LSAT when I was in college, so I think that in all fairness that may have helped a bit, but, here are the things that have I've methodically worked on: not skimming, ...

I'm using the 2015 official guide, and the verbal review 2nd edition. I ordered them on itunes so I could get used to reading the passages and questions on a screen. For me, there's such a difference between reading on a screen versus reading in a book. The only problem with the official guides is t...

Yeah, I think there's a mistake.
I'm pretty sure "which" modifies what's just before the comma, so here it's saying "opportunities leads" thus causing a verb number agreement problem too.
Is my understanding correct?
