Profile Evaluation Request
Took the GMAT this morning and scored a 680 (42Q 40V), with an IR score of 8. I was aiming for 700+. I have scored 46Q is 3 mock exams so was disappointed by that especially. I am requesting an evaluation of my current profile, and recommendations going forward. GMAT 680 (42Q 40V 8IR) Undergrad GPA ...

Okay starting to freak out. Yesterday I took GMAT Prep Practice Test 2 and scored a 690 (second highest score I've got so far and 46Q and 38V). Wasn't as great as I had hoped, but wasn't awful for me. Then today I took MGMAT CAT 5 and scored a 630!! (This is my worst score so far a 41Q and 35V). I f...

SC is certainly my weakest, which gives me hope since that one seems like the one which can be improved the most. CR is certainly my strongest. RC also needs some work.

Yeah I get that. I just mean my Quant has improved from 40, 38(First & Second CAT) to 46 (Last 2 CAT's)....Whereas my Verbal has gone 40, 38, 39, 40, 37. I.e I haven't seen much, if ANY improvement in Verbal.

Took another CAT today and didn't do as great. 680. (46Q and 37V). This whole time I've been thinking the Quant would be my weak area but it seems like Verbal is what is holding me back from a good score.

Okay made some progress this weekend. Took 2 CAT's. Saturday was a 670 (42Q, 39V), and Sunday was a 700 (46Q, 40V). Starting to see some progress, which is nice. Getting closer to my 730 goal!

Over the past week, I studied SC and Algebra. It was a combination of tactics and practice questions.

Okay, Just finished my first MGMAT CAT. I scored a 660 again. This time 42 on Quant and 38 on Verbal. Should I see this as encouraging or discouraging. Are the MGMAT CAT's considered easier or harder than GMAC's?
Any insight would be awesome!
Thanks!

1) I have been studying for about a week.
2) I'm going to be using OG and OG Verbal and OG Quant. Also using Vertas Prep.
3) I skipped IR and AWA.
4) Taking official GMAT at the beginning of August and again (if needed) at the start of September.

GMAT Practice Test 1
Just took my first GMAT practice test from GMAT Test Prep Software. I scored a 660. My goal is 730+. Scores were Quant 40 (52nd percentile) and Verbal 40 (90th percentile). Would love to get some feedback from someone who may have started in my position. Or the best way for me to get my total score ...

I made the decision to come to America when I was 14. I looked around me and so very few people truly happy and doing something they LOVE. I decided if I wanted to excel and give myself the greatest chance of success I needed to leave. I began contacting boarding high schools and left for the US whe...
