my problem is that my results with gmat prep is now skewed because i see a lot of repeats...i started taking gmatprep earlier in my preparation ..now when i try it again..i'm getting mid 700's with 60-70% new questions.

on 2nd analysis I agree it reads the same .
I can't explain the difference.
But I'd prefer A to D just b'coz A matches the literal argument style more than D

A - parallelism issue with both usage. E- "to be seated" is wrong usage...sh'd be "be seated" B. I'm not sure if the "each other" rule applies here. Is it not comparing 2 groups ie -> citizens of host country to citizens of visting country? on the other hand B is wrong ...

This is question is from kaplan cd...
if x is positive number is x<1?
1.x > sqrt(x)
2.- sqrt(x) >-x
how to approach this one?

for 1 If i take x=1/4 then sqrt(x) can be -1/2/1/2 which mean x can be <1
but if x=4 sqrt(x) is -2/2 so can go eitherways..

is this a correct way to think? there's drivers seat for 1 of the 2parents. rest there are 4 seats. number of ways to sit in 4 seats is 4! & then there are 2 parents who can be drivers so total way to seat is 2*4! = 48 now way in which 2 girls can sit : they can only sit in back set there are 4 ...
