IMO-A.

i would choose between A & D, however, the use of 'although' in D does not make sense.

Re: like vs as

IMO - B.

I would prefer 'as' over 'like', in this sentence in that, the sentence is talking about an action that is performed by an expert.

As usual i got excited, thanks so much for correcting. This will be my biggest drawback, got to really work on this . @ siddarth I don't think you can use 6,7,8 or 11,12,13 because the question says p+q+r=n xyz=n 6+7+8=21 But 6*7*8=336 I guess the only set of numbers that work is 1,2,3 for both pqr ...

The Answer is D, the remainder will be 1 in both cases. Try using numbers like 6+7+8 or 6*7*8, 11+12+13 or 11*12*13. Since we know that p & x are the smallest.

Now Statement 1 will satisfy both these conditions, so my answer is Statement 1 is enough to answer the question. Statemen...

Re: please help GmapPrep question

The answer is B, not E. I found that N = 15,y=2 where I'm wrong? You must have multiplied incorrectly; 15^3, an odd number, cannot be equal to 450*2 = 900, which is even. I posted a solution to this problem here: www.beatthegmat.com/number-properties-q-t13973.html The answer is B Indeed, i was wron...
