Median data sufficiency

If 2 < x < 4, what is the median of the numbers 0, 5, x, 1, 7, and 3?

(1) 2x - 5 = 0
(2) 2x^2 - 7x + 5 = 0

The correct answer is D. Can someone please explain how B is sufficient? Thanks.
