@Soniamba, Kaplan 800 is an advanced book. The difficulty level is higher. So it will be a good practice material if you are good with basics.

Very good questions Cans but when you perform well in your work, GPA will have a very much influence in the process. GMAT and Work Exp will speak for itself. At least that is what I think :)

You have mentioned that you wrote an additional essay and submitted an additional recommendation letter. Will the B'Schools apply like that after your actual application is submitted.

If you are asking about CATs, then I suggest you check out MGMAT tests first. From what I have heard, the scores which you get on them are very close to what you will get on GMAT. That will help you understand where you are lagging behind and start working on it :)
