On your response for statement 2, x=-1 also satisfies the condition.
Also, how can you assume that x is an integer. why can't x be 0.5.
When you combine statement 1 and 2, we get
0=<x=<1.
I would say that the answer seems to be E. What's the source of this question?

I am not sure on this one but i think the answer is b.
stmt 1: doesn't help us at all. we need to find out whether m is divisible by 2.
stmt 2: this tells us that 2 does divided into m.
