Rich and Brent - Your explanation made this problem very easy to solve. I noticed where I got the problem wrong. First, I tried to figure out the total odd numbers between 10 and 1000 = 495. At this point, i just got stuck. I didn't know where else to go. I understand your method perfectly. Thank you!

Hello,

How many odd numbers between 10 and 1000 are the squares of the integers?

Can someone please explain the best method to solve these kinds of questions? I didn't know how to solve this question within 2 mins. I had to take a random guess during the exam.
