Good advice, of course, but easier said than done. A lot of folks have a sudden realization that they need an MBA to advance their career and want to get in for the following year, which may not leave much time. Bottom line - if you are trying for the top 10 schools, do everything within your power, and more, to get the best GMAT score you can. Don't settle for a low score if you can do the test again.
