x = 1

I solved it as :
Rephrase : X,y + integers. X or tenth decimal = ?
1, x might be between any number 5 to 9 for 4.3
So insufficient
2, If y = 0 then k = 4.27 , so x = 7
If y = 9 , then K = 4.26 , so x = 6
So insufficient

Solved as below.
Purple : Red = 3x:5x tulips
White : Yellow = 2y:3y Roses
White = 2times pruple
X = 2
Y = 6
12 White = 2 ( 6 ) Pruple
So, Red : Yellow = 5 : 9

Is my strategy right? But I feel it's a time consuming by plugging IN
