Hi Jon, Thanks for the analysis. I will retake the GMAT and will try to hit that elusive 700. I did read many of your posts and hence added the international travel part to add 'international' in my profile. If I do get a nice GMAT score, it should offset low GPA and average undergrad college? Could...

HI Mitch,

The question never asked when they meet. It says when they are to the nearest 10 feet.
Or
If you can please tell me what does the following line mean?
how many feet farther, to the nearest 10 ft, will Henry walk than James?

Thanks

HI Ron, Thanks for the reply. This question, as to how to identify Mdofiers, arose when I was at: OG13, SC, Q#7. The intricate structure of the compound insect eye, having hundreds of miniature eves called ommatidia, help explain why scientists have assumed that it evolved independently of the verte...

Hi Mitch, How about this explanation? Here, since the evidence is compared to many other evidences, so we need to use the superlative instead of comparative: when comparison is between only two things. So B, C and E are out. Between A and D: the use of simple tenses is preferred in stated facts so D...

How about a 3rd approach? :) Here it is: Since A B C B C B ------------ C D D Therefore, A + B = C and B + C = D; where each is a single digit no. Add both the equations: We get: A + B + B + C = C + D ----> A + 2B = D Now since D is a single digit, therefore, A + 2B <= 9 and we need to maximize A*B....
