you need to retake it. 530 is sub 50 percentile score. get at least a 600 or above. I am sure you can do it.

In general, 680 is a score that won't keep out if you have a strong profile. Look at the postings of the admissions consulting section of this website and check out the profiles of your schools. At most top schools 680 is within the 80% range of accepted applicants.

jesus christmas....are you freaking kidding me? Unless you are planning to work for a test prep company, your score would not disadvantage you as you would be competitive at any top school, but then again you should know that.

congrats dude...i went from a 620 (this was in early Sept 08) to a 730 (mid January 09). I know exactly how you feel, so congratulations! Btw, where r u applying?
