:) No intention of doing that. Din't have an idea about this. I dint know consulting firms use GMAT until sometime ago.

Thanks for your quick response! I just wanted to know If there is a cut off? especially for the Quantitative section. My scores are Q 48/V 40 - 720 (Indian IT male). Will the Q 48 hurt my chances in a top 20 school ?

Importance of GMAT

How important is the GMAT for a career in Consulting? I have heard people saying that a high GMAT is extremely important in landing a Consulting job? Is this true?

Advanced material for what ? Quants or Verbal ? Preferably you can go through the Mgmat guides again or try their Advanced Quant book. For Verbal I found Aristotle very useful. They have a lot of questions too.
