The thing which surprises me the most is that they rejected you without an interview. I know this year with an influx of applicants, all schools (let alone LBS) can be picky but I feel bad for ya mayo. I applied LBS 2nd round as well and I think if those are the two only reasons(reco - future goal, ...

What I have decided to do is knock off the essays first, and then give GMAT another go. As most people have said ( and I believe with this), if you get rejected it wi...

One other thing I forgot to mention, I took GMAT Quant tests from gmatclub which were amazing at helping me catch the Number properties traps. Remember I mentioned about the -8,-1/2....etc yeah I formulated those after being slapped around silly by the gmatclub tests, they give you one free but you ...

OK, So I am finally awake. :) To re-iterate, I got a Q50 V35 and my final score was 700. I didn't really think about it before, but now I have realized that this score is 10 points lower then expected. I have a mate who took the exam as recently as late August - early September period and he got Q50...

Hi Lisa, Got back from my GMAT yesterday. Score looks good but what do you think? 700(Q50, V35) Sadly, my percentile rankings are a bit lopsided. I seemed to have done better in maths then predicted and worse in verbal then predicted. I was speaking with various test-takers and a couple of them have...

hey Abhishek,
Cheers for the docs! I am definitely going to be using your tracker to see where I stand. This gives me an insight to how "well"(relative word, you did Bloody awesome) you did in the OG11.
Well done and thanks once again.

I thought that the essays were hand-marked by GMAT and that was the reason why the assessment of the essays took up to 10 days. I did not know that they used an automated tool to assess our essays.
Hmmm.... :

As rainfall began to decrease
I am assuming this has been asked before, but i could not find it. So here is a fun SC. As rainfall began to decrease in the Southwest about the middle of the twelfth century, most of the Monument Valley Anasazi abandoned their homes to join other clans whose access to water was less limited . A. wh...

Adding onto elmiko, I actually did this question without picking up the pen. This is what I did, the question is saying that that the ratio of the balls was 6:5. I instantly realized that 6/11 of X number must be equal to white balls. Now we know the balls cant be 1/2 or 3/4 of a ball. So I quickly ...
