Got 620 after 3.5 months revision. Very :-(

Hi all, Took the GMAT today and scored 620 (Q:39 [58 percentile] and V:36 [80 percentile). I'm dissappointed. I need to get around the 700 mark. I studied for 4 months and went through OG 10th edition - Each question twice. I also learnt the verbal and quant concepts sections from the Kaplan and PR ...

Verbal: Scaled score = 36. Percentile = 80. Total: 620. Percentile: 76. How come my quantitative scaled score is...

Thats what I thought. On page 217 in OG 10th Edition it says that 0.04 is smaller than 0.02.

I couldn't believe that my maths had fallen to that level 5 days before my exam.......relieved.

My $2....

I had a look at it and felt that it was no good. Its questions do not closely resemble GMAT questions. Do you have the official GMAT guide. It uses mathematical explanations, even when plugging in or backsolving would be better and quicker. I would stay clear of Barron's. The general consensus appea...

Help with simple maths problem

Help needed with the following:

(x-y)^2 = 0.

I understand that this translates to (x-y)(x-y) = 0. But kaplan says that this is the same as (x-y) = 0, why is this.

Thanks
