The difference is that Power Score is written for the LSAT and adapted for the GMAT. When I teach the LSAT there are literally two dozen types of questions to consider. In that case it is better to read the stimulus first. Also, on the LSAT you have 35 minutes to do 25 questions - so that is about ...

review quant while studying (i.e. main focus on) verbal?

Would appreciate experience or advice from experts and anyone who had the same predicament - reviewing what you studied before. I started with MGMAT quant guides, moved on to MGMAT SC, now just started POWERSCORE CR. about 75% of the way through main prep, but is it smart to review quant books while...

good point David. but that would only affect 10 or at most 20 points woudln't it? i think that website might be using a pool of scores from very old tests. if not (assuming it's up to date), people might be comparing their scores from more than a couple years ago. 690 in 2008 would be different from...

finally got around to taking GMATPrep 2. 720 (Q47-73%, V42-96%), more satisfied this time, got pacing a little better but not by much. for quant, numbered the time left by 2 mins for each question. for verbal i just rolled with it because thought it would just save time rather than looking up to see...

didn't find anything related, but is there a collection of real GMAT scores? i think this website has a database of sample scores, but i don't know to what extent. can anyone verify these scores, and whether there's conflict with what's predicted here, and what they actually got? otherwise i think i...

thanks for your in depth reply Dave. you're right, typo by me, it was 40 90%. 44 would be a dream, although i think shooting for 42-43 is still realistic. i'm hoping the quant score was a fluke because i would have to break 80% to make it look balanced and give a respectable overall score. also, wit...
