Quant 42 first CAT...

been studying a few months, and i took my first CAT (i know, unorthodox). However, i only had time for the quant section.

My score (manhatten free CAT) reads Q42, 57% percentile.

I was under the impression a Q42 was impressive- am i missing something here?

regards,
derek

First, notice that K + K = 2K
Using the same logic, 2^5 + 2^5 = 2(2^5) = (2^1)(2^5) = 2^6

Similarly, notice that M + M + M = 3M
Using the same logic, 3^5 + 3^5 + 3^5 = 3(3^5) = (3^1)(3^5) = 3^6

can you explain how the first and second both equate to ^6? (given two factors versus three?)

Your experience with Manhatten Prep/OG corresponding Q's?

If you prepped with Manhatten guides and took the OG questions allotted for each topic, how were (largely speaking) they in terms of difficulty versus the actual exam?? I feel like the Manhatten granularity is the "worst case" scenario, meaning it prepares you for the more convoluted, comp...

does this sound like a good plan to you guys?

Quant Sequence Problem #131

Can't follow this question for some reason. Maybe you guys can break it down and tailor it a bit better than the brief Quant explanation 131) In the sequence X0, X1, X2...., Xn, each term from X1 to Xk is 3 greater than the previous term, and each term from Xk+1 to Xn is 3 less than the previous ter...
