GMAC will probably let you retake at no cost, but you will have to wait 1 month before you can write the exam again.

I am an ex smoker and I can testify that sometimes it is worth to have a cigarette and start the quant or verbal section 1 minute late than no cigarette and not being able to focus at all. I stopped cold turkey the day after my wedding, 2 years ago, and never touched it again. I seriously don't miss...

What books are you using for the verbal part? I think the 500+ score can be achieved pretty easily with a 45 days study schedule. You seems to score way lower in the real test than in the practice ones, do you take the mock tests under real conditions? I took tests with the TV on, my cellphone in th...

Sometimes, you just get 3-4 RC wrong in a row and it drags your score down. You have to find your weakness and then work on it. I thought I was good with RC until I analyzed my score and realized it was really something I had to work onto. I went from 23 to 33 just by addressing my weaknesses. Carl...

Did you seriously study for 720 days? The downfall might have been horrible. I hope you can achieve your goal of getting above the 700 mark.
Cheers.

Hi all, we are a group of students and have some vacations coming up. We would really like to utilize the time not on the studies, but on some good vacation trip. As none of us have been to Canada, we are planning to visit Montreal. We have been gathering information and have consulted the necessar...

Bombed or beat it???!
I BEAT THE GMAT! I beat it because I got the score I wanted. It is true that I was aiming for a 610, but I got 590 (Q37 - V33) and I am not disappointed at my score at all, neither I think this is a dismal 590! The past 3 months have been exhausting. Why? Mostly because I recently got promoted in a ...

I have taken the real gmat twice and i would definitely say the real gmat is a bit harder then gmatprep. The verbal is especially harder on the real gmat. For me, my real gmat vs gmatprep scores were about 20 points lower. What about you are more anxious when you take the real test vs a mock one? I...

Hi, I suggest you contact the test centre, if no one else on the board has taken the test in Paris. To my understanding AZERTY is used in French speaking countries (BTW not elsewhere in Europe i.e. not a European keyboard), so there is a good chance that it could be one. But then again it is an Ame...

Hi there, I took my last GMAT Prep today and got a 590 (Q44 V28). The MGMAT books about Number Properties and the one about Equations, Inequalitues and VIC's has helped for sure. I would never have imagined to be able to score 44 in the quant section! In the analysis of my incorrect answers, I reali...

You have mentioned that you particularly struggle with powers, numbers, factors etc. If you have MGMAT Number properties book, did you study each and everything patiently and make notes wherever you struggle? If not, then you should do this and revise the topics you constantly struggle with. You wi...
