The first sentence is ambigious because two meanings are possible:
I like cheese more than Yvette likes cheese.
I like cheese more than I like Yvette.
The writer's meaning is clear in both of the "right" sentences, so the problem has been corrected.

I would go for B. The tense of B is right and it is the least awkward. The sentence descibes a sequence of events and the earlier action should be in a perfect tense (one formed with have or has).
