I think I've just been really lucky as I've gotten 50k from all the schools I was accepted to, whereas in reality many people don't get that kind of aid. I'm going with ND. Thanks for your help and guidance throughout this whole process. I really appreciate it! If you're working with any applicants ...

So, no aid from Notre Dame. Getting 25k/year from Wake. Long term obviously ND is the better investment and its where I want to be. It's going to be tough to take out the full cost in loans but that's the way I'm leaning. I want to be a part of that family and that tradition of excellence.

Hi, figured I would give you a quick update and ask for you advice. I applied to all my schools 1st round and was wait-listed at ND (dream school) and was accepted at all of the lower tier schools. I wasn't sure if ND was going to happen so I a threw a 1k deposit down with Wake Forest, who gave appr...

Bit of a dilemma here, I wanted to apply R1 for all of my schools. I would love to go to Ross, however their R1 deadline is Oct 1st, one of my recommenders is currently out of the office until next week. So applying R1 there isn't an option. R2 isn't until Jan 2nd. My problem is, if I gain admission...

Hi Jennifer, I decided not to take the GMAT again and I'm going to stand tall with what I have. I'll be discussing my GMAT challenges in the supplemental essay and hopefully that can give me some leeway in terms of my less than avg GMAT. Should I do a supplemental for all my schools or just the ones...

Thanks for the feedback. That makes me feel much better about my lackluster performance on the GMAT. Do you think it would greatly increase the odds of admission if I retake it? It's been tough for me to get higher than 44 in quant on my practice exams, its just difficult not having studying materia...

Is my testing center still open?
Hello, I am currently living in Uganda and have my exam scheduled for 8/28. My testing center is located at a university that has been recently closed due to rioting and protests. Is there any way to check if the testing center will remain open despite the protests? I was not provided with a telepho...

# of RC on actual GMAT
I'm seeing 4 RC passages on my practice CATs and they've been throwing one in at the very end which sucks because I'm already pinched for time. Is this likely to happen on the actual exam? I'm scoring high 30s on CATs.
Thanks!

Difference between high 30s and low 40s score Verbal score
I'm constantly scoring high 30s for my verbal score, averaging about a 38. However I've hit a ceiling and I'm having trouble break through to the 40's. What's the difference between someone scoring high 30s and low 40s. I get the easy/mid questions right for RC,CR,SC correct. It looks like my proble...
