Most people will tell you that time is not enough. Then again, those are the people who told you GMAT is soooo tough, application is soooo lengthy, getting admission is like getting a lottery and such stuff!!. I started my journey last year in July. By the time I picked up my study, I had a major mi...

It is not completely impossible to get admission in a decent school for Full time MBA with your age. But, but, there are only very few schools who will dare to admit you. The reason is simple, they are not very confident to place you. In reality, only a very few decent schools actually admits aged p...

I rather agree with Abhi on this point. Absolutely no question is foolish or immature. when you answer such an innocent question, many aspects of you and your school comes out. I never asked anyone about hard data but I generally asked about their own feelings about job, career change, school suppor...

Hi WBC, I have realized how close minded people are. They only hear what they want to hear and then lament about their choices. Very few want to use someone else's genuine experience to avoid bad choices. Most of them only want to hear good things. My dear friend, don't be offended by comments by s...

Good to see you back in action What i have mentioned in my post is not misleading at all. My post is directed towards all Business schools with an MBA class size less than 50 students and if you research properly you will find that no global top 50 Business school has an MBA class with less than 50 ...

A small correction, IMD is 90 I guess anything from 60-150 is a reasonable class size. Less than 50 is small and less than 20 is too small. Upto 250 is still bearable but beyond that "to me" is a market for stamping. As I mentioned in one of the post, it is not about volume of alumni but h...

Bath is typical 2nd tier MBA school in UK. When I said 2nd tier, I meant schools after LBS, Oxbridge, Cranfield, Manchester and Warwick. I personally believe that the quality of education of even 2nd tier UK schools are far better than many ranked schools in other places. I had considered Lancaster ...

I have seen many posts from MBAguys and as a prospective student, I must say those were eye opener rather than the sweet talks. Based on my personal experience, I more or less agree to MBA guys. Recruiter visit, electives, little or no alumni in companies are real issue. Profitability of the class a...

Hi, I am a software programmer. Age - 40. I have been preparing for GMAT for more than 1 year. My score in mock tests is 540. My question is 1. I am a lucky one to get admission in Cranfield, Man and Warwick. To me, they all are equally good for my objectives. There are very finer differences and you need to identify what is important for YOU. An additional 6 months in Man may be useful to some and may be an waste to other. Internship in yo...

You need to do much deeper analysis and depending on your priority, keep the scholarship angle out for initial deliberation. Personally I feel those few thousands scholarship will be peanuts in longer term. However, a decent scholarship gives you an immense satisfaction that you have been valued and...

Let me be brutally honest. Full time MBA faces problem in changing career path unless they are much better than average and has a strong story to tell in a convincing manner. It is not impossible to change career path through part time. Then again, it is not impossible to change without even an MBA ...

This is the reason i insist that prospective candidates do their own qualitative research and use pointers f...
