A = Associate professors
B = Assistant professors
Total no of pencils and charts = (2p+c)A + (p+2c)B
10p + 11c = p(2A+B) +c(A+2b)
Compare the coefficients of P and C... and you'll get two equations:
2A + B = 10 and A + 2B = 11
Solve them to get the answer..

The problem statement could get a little tricky if analyzed carefully. It doesn't asks about selling price or the cost price. Do we assume that any reference to price means 'selling price' ?
