you have to use singular after of "the number of registered lobbyists" so only choice b, c, e left i think you have to use a noun after the "due to Noun". it's WRONG to use "Preposition + NOUN + Participle" "to + government +growing" Correct me if im wrong :)

SC - Barron's questions

why "he" has to be after "be" - that's what it says in the answer, but i dont understand. Kindly explain please thanks.

verb (not noun/object) has follow right after "but also" - am i righht?
btw, can i separate "but .... also" in the "not only .. but also" sentence
this came to my mind, sorry that i dotn really have any example.

I was struggling btw B & E, the answer is E, but i'm want to know what's the difference btw "because" and "in that" ? what's exactly make the answer be E?

i choose E coz i thought "seeks" in choice E is referring to "ONE of the ..." - shouldnt that follow followed by a "SEEKS" ?
Please help explaining.
