(6+0+x)/3 = 3 and (0+0+y)/3 = 2 --> (3,6)

There is a simple formula to solve this problem - sqrt(3sq+4sq+12sq) and the answer is 13.

X coordinate has 10 possible values between -4 and 5 Y coordinate has 11 possible values between 6 and 16 1. Fix P first, P can have 10 values across X axis and 11 across Y axis. Can anyone explain this one for me?

It says that the "The population of the bacteria multiplies at a constant rate". It doesn't matter if you calculate at 1/2 hr rate or 1 hr rate.
