Cover letter needed?

I wanted to get inputs on adding a cover-letter for MBA application?
The school i am applying to has most of the stuff online (Essays, resume, extra curricular activity details etc.).

Do you think a cover letter is needed &/or is helpful?
Just wondering if it will look over-engineered.

Thanks.

number line

I have a confusion regarding number line..

suppose there are two points on number line (x on RHS of 0), y(on LHS of 0).

To find x-y, do i consider the -ve sign of y? or do we need to consider the absolute distance only?

Hi Gabriel,

I am not sure, but some character combination seems to trigger this..

I tried to copy paste the text (as in .jpg), but if you look, it doesn't come out correctly. Something with < , > signs, or () or a combination of them..

Thx.

You are right.. Its a possibility..

So combining 1 & 2, y can be either 2 or 6.

So it should be E.

Looks like i need to spend few seconds extra before i conclude :)

Thx for catching!

Least Common denominator is usually applied to fractions. We unknowingly do L.C.D all the time when adding fractions From the Q.. 1. x/y + 1/3 has L.C.D. of 6 . i.e. L.C.M (y,3) = 6 which gives y =2 (if the fraction is in reduced form) But, x/y can be 2/4, which makes y =4.. So Not SUFF 2. x= 1, no ...
