That really depends. I think a good place to start would be to take a GMAT Prep practice test to see where you're at. If you're scoring close to your target, maybe you can abbreviate your prep; if you're well below your target, perhaps starting over your prep makes sense. Keep in mind too that the ...

If you have the time then try the foundations of math by MGMAT then once you feel comfortable with the concepts and basics move on to the MGNAT strategy guides which help with specific GMAT strategies for all the question types. MBA Submission Deadline Looming, How Should I Proceed?
Scheduled my first GMAT attempt (March 31st 2012) back in December 2011. Didn't hit the books hard until March so I wasn't too surprised at my scores: Official Gmat Prep: 480 and 470 1st GMAT attempt: 530 (q33, v29) I doubled down on my studying immediately after March 31st and hit the books even ha...

If it should be that, then why is the answer 2^8 rather than 2^5? OG has it as 2^8Bill@VeritasPrep wrote:Yes, it should be.RyanP wrote:Why do you just automatically take out the parenthesis after doing 4-1. Shouldn't it still be 2^(3)^2?

A Week Before The Test - GMAT Prep Scores Are Abysmal
The program I'm currently looking at recommends a GMAT score of 600 which sounded very attainable when I started studying a month and a half ago. For the past month and a half I've spent my time 75% on quant (I'm very weak here), 25% on verbal but after taking the two practice quizzes in the GMAT so...

OG: Data Sufficiency Quick Question
In the OG (12th Edition) do the Data Sufficiency practice questions get harder the higher you go? I got 21 out of the first 30 right but from question 50 to question 80, I only got five right. Just trying to gauge my studying so far.

(8^2)(3^3)(2^4)/(96^2) = (2^3)^2 * (3^3) * (2^4)/(2^5 * 3)^2 = (2^6) * (3^3) * (2^4)/(2^10 * 3²) = (2^10) * (3^3))/(2^10 * 3²) = 3 The correct answer is A . I don't understand how you reduce 96^2 to (2^5*3)^2. 96*96 = 9216. (64*3)^2 = 36864. Am I missing something? How are those equivalent?

How much have you updated your flashcards since writing them back in 2006? I'm starting to study them but want to make sure the basic principles haven't changed too much.
