"How would you contribute to the school?"

Hi, I have seen many schools ask "How would you contribute to the school" in their applications. What is the right way to approach this question? I know that just mentioning specific clubs is not enough. What does an ideal answer contain? What are the AdComs looking for in such a question?...

Hi Ron, Thanks a lot for such a detailed reply!! I will add all these points henceforth while studying. Just to clarify, are the LSAT RC passages okay to study? Or should I stick to only OG for RC too? P.S: As said by Rakesh above, by "Grail", I meant the book published by Aristotle. It wa...

Hi Ron, Thanks for replying. Also, thanks for clearing so many of my doubts through various posts of yours both in BTG and in MGMAT forums! I will go through each sub topic so that I can give you a clearer picture. I will skip Quant because I seem to have studied it correctly. SC I studied the rules...

Hi,

I had a similar score (660-Q51/V28) about a month before you. See the post along with suggestions given by others in the below mentioned link:

Wow. I am in love with this community. A big thanks to everyone who has replied here. @Rich: I had not taken any of those CAT's earlier. Although there were many questions in GMAT prep2 (760, two days before my GMAT) that I was familiar with. Regarding MGMAT CAT's, apart from a very minute proportio...

Hi Vivek, Firstly, thanks for your reply. I must say my verbal score was very very surprising. Even on my worst day, I was getting a Verbal 34-35. I didn't prepare for the AWA till a couple of days before the exam. Almost all mock exams except my GMAT Prep 2 and MGMAT 5 & 6 were taken without th...

GMAT 660 Q51 V28!! Help Needed With Verbal!!

Hi, I took the GMAT a few weeks back and got a 660 (Q 51/V 28/AWA 5/IR 5). I am extremely disappointed with my verbal score. I would like to hear any inputs on how best to tackle the GMAT in my second attempt (November mid). I did go to a private tutor and most of his materials were questions taken ...

First Mock Test : Terrible!!!

I wrote my first mock test today (GMAT prep). It was terrible. I just got a 560. Quant 45 - 71 percentile. Verbal 23 -29th percentile. My biggest problem was that I had a huge time management issue. In IR, I could solve 11 questions. Out of which I had to rush the last 3 questions (all 3 were wrong)...
