Sending Score Reports

If I sent a school my score report the first time I took the GMAT but my highest score was the second attempt do they see that as well? I suppose my question is, am I actually sending them that score or just giving them access to any of my scores, not only the current one but any in the future as we...

Didn't Waive My Right to View Academic Records

For two schools I did not waive my right to view my academic records, figuring what's the big deal since I can't see them until after I'm enrolled anyways. Of course I later find out that the AdCom starts to question whether they can trust your recommendation letters. Well crap, my recommendation le...

If you're running short on time or don't know how to solve you can easily make this a 50/50 problem. We know the base is 25 and area is (.5)(b)(h), so two times the area must be a multiple of 25. D and E are the only ones that match the criteria. To solve I considered common Pythagorean triples and ...

Decided to take it again after talking to a couple MBA consultants. Bought Advanced Quant from MGMAT and went through that book and problems on BTG for three weeks. Somehow my quant went down and verbal went up as I got a 720 (43Q, 45V). Thinking of taking it one more time this weekend before IR is ...

A has two independent clauses separated by just a comma, so no on A.

That said, I have no idea what the answer is. They all sound incorrect.

The same reason you wouldn't say something ARE wanted. You're saying this thing that is wanted. The large houses are a collection.

I apologize for not knowing all the technical terms, but I hope that makes sense until an expert comes in an explains it better, or just corrects me, ha.

Cross Multiplication

Could someone explain how you get from the first line to the second line or a good resource for understanding cross multiplication a little better? Thanks.

From 570 to 700 (44Q, 42V) in Four Months

Once I decided in December to take the GMAT I did a little research to determine what course would be best for me. I used the reviews from this site and almost signed up for a $1,500-$2,000 in-person course before I came across Knewton. The on-demand classes, ability to study on my own time, and str...

Take the GMAT Again?

I just took the GMAT (literally a couple hours ago) and got a 700, which I'm happy with. Based on the official practice tests and my high/low quant and verbal scores I was looking at anywhere from 660-740, so 700 is right there in the middle. My question is whether it's worth it to take it one more ...
