In B, C and D, helps (singular) does not agree with differences (plural). Eliminate B, C and D, Hi, Mitch. In option B, the verb is not singular as you said "helps"(singular), but "help"(plural). Then, what is wrong with option B? Is it "in determining"? Thanks.

I have a question. One thing unclear to me is what "CEO's" means. Is is CEO's pay(possessive) or CEOs(plural)? CEO's is plural. In the phrase " . . . indicates that CEO’s now earn an average of . . ", CEO's is the plural subject of the verb "earn". Mike :) Thanks you...
