the equation that can be formed from the question is 36000 + 10x = 441000
x= 40500
actually the no of novels sold = x
no of paperback sold = 9x
hence total novels sold is = 36000 + 10x
so the no of paperback sold = 9*40500=364500
hence answer C

In this problem just increase the power as much as you can for example we can write the above example as (3.3^(2(4n+1)) + 2)/5 =>( 3.9^(4n+1) + 2)/5 for first part as 9%5 = 4 and 4 ^4n+1is always a number with units digit as 4 hence remainder is 4 as 4n+1 is Odd 3* 4 = 12 & 12%5 = 2 Hence adding...

the second question can be answered as follows Total length = 124 * 5 = 620 Median = 140 hence 2 values below 140 and 2 above 140 Let us take the Minimum values for the values above 140 as we need Maximum value below 140 so they can be = 141,142 so remaining is 197.the maximum value can be 98.5 henc...

Answer
This is because
1) as per condition 1st the only 2 possibilities is either both numbers are +ve or -ve
2) as per 2nd cdt the whether the two are +ve or -ve the Product will be +ve as the no. Of integers is even
Hence c is the corect option
