Thank you!
I had used the combination of Manhattan SC (version 2,3,4) with OG 10, 12 and Verbal Review 2 for SC practice.
Use the BTG's Verbal question of the day for better results.

Hey, GMAT expects you to manage the time with utmost priority and will penalize you the most for it. In your case, not completing the Q section has affected your score more than anything. Verbal in your case seems fine and you have above average score in it. Download GMAT Prep and develop the time m...

Thanks! gave the exam on the 10th October.
The quant section was more in line with the GMAT Prep.
In verbal, SC section was as usual. I think it was more idiom based. Few questions were modifier and pronoun based. I don't seem to recall any meaning based question as such.
CR seemed trickier to me.

yea..had noticed the similarities while going through your post. in my honest opinion, its about holding your nerves. However, during the verbal section, i noticed that CR questions in particular weren't coming in the form which i had practiced generally. As there were very few support / weaken ques...

"for allowing" after "state laws" is incorrect. The meaning that "the state laws allow X" is not clear. Had it been "state laws that allow X" then this option would have been correct.because it conveys "grounds of violating state laws because the ban allo...
