Why did Brent subtract the number of straight lines from the combination? I understand there are 84 total combinations because of 9 total points and 3 points to a triangle (subtracting redundancies), so 9!/3! = 84. But why do we subtract the number of straight lines? @pkit...I liked the simplicity behind your solution.
But, how did you arrive with 7 + 4 = 12 as a possible outcome. If 2/3 of the jurors are supposed to men, then that would equate to 8 or more? What am I missing here?
