Thanks guys! It was definitely very hard. I commute an hour to work both ways, so I had to study whenever I could. I studied on the train and at home and on my lunch breaks. I tried to do 2 hours each day for 2 months, I followed the 60 day study guide which REALLY helped me out. Then the last week ...

200 Point Increase! I beat it!!
So I JUST got back from my gmat exam, just got in trouble because I was so excited, I wrote my score on my hand, which apparently i wasn't allowed to do. BUT I started studying 2 months ago, scoring a terrible 420 on my first test..and then I took about 6 practice tests after that, having trouble sc...

6 Days Away!!
So I'm 6 days away from G-Day. 2 months ago I took a first a practice exam with a terrible 430, since then I have gotten it up to a 550, which I know it is not the best score ever, but it is all I need to get into grad school with (No Ivy Leagues for me). Between now and November 28th, I'm planning ...

Thanks everyone :) And yes, it must partly have to do with that I haven't seen a crazy amount of improvement. And so now I'm slightly freaking out because my test is 3 weeks away. It's hard when you work full time, commute an hour+ everyday, and don't get home until 8pm. I'm trying though! I'm tryin...

Help, I need Motivation :(
So I just lost power for 6 days during the snowstorm on the east coast. And that means I lost pretty much almost 6 days of studying. I have 23 days until my test, I just took half of a Kaplan CAT, and got a 24 in quant, and I felt so awful I couldn't get myself to take the rest of the test. Those da...

One month to drill into quant
With one month left until the GMAT's, the math is really what I need to spend most of my time on. Just wondering anyone's opinion on the best book that will help me for one month of studying quant. I have the official GMAT quant book, and a princeton math workbook. Just wondering if anyone knows of ...

Need some Strategy Advice
So I'm a pretty average test taker. I'm way better on verbal than quant. I don't exactly remember what my verbal score was my last practice test, but my math is weaker. I scored a 30 on the quant on my last practice test. I am following the 60 day study plan, and I'm on the verbal section now, and I...

I DEFINITELY struggled when first starting my studying about 2 weeks ago. I took the practice test once before I did any studying, and scored a 430. I was soo frustrated so now I have been doing the 60 day study plan. One thing that I have noticed is you have to go in with a positive attitude!! When...

Kaplan Premier 2012
I'm following the 60 day study guide and just realized it calls for Kaplan 2011, and I have a newer version (2012). Are the specific pages generally the same? I'm noticing some of the pages in the study match up for the most part, but not all exactly.

Where to begin?
I know this seems like a silly question. But I purchased the official GMAT study book (12th edition). I read through the introduction, and I am completely overwhelmed on how to start studying. I'm not taking the GMAT until January or February, but I'm hoping to get a head start on it. I know that I ...
