Basics, basics, basics!! If you know the manhattn gmat series cold, and take all their practice tests, you should be able to score in the mid 600's... but again, know it cold! Basics are everything in this test...

I cannot emphasize the above enough as well. I was scoring in the low-mid 700's on practice tests. Took the gmat and got barely over a 600. I waited a year, reviewed some material. I was way more prepared the previous time.. took it again and got a 710.. that time I was so relaxed and didn't care ab...

Don't stress about it. I get very nervous during tests and scored a 28 on verbal the 3rd time I took it. The 4th time I took it I was just as prepared as the 3rd... Got a 41... Difference is the 41 I was really relaxed. I also was studying for the lsat before the 41- I think that made a huge differe...

Wasn't your last gmat prep tests a repeat? Regardless, most of your scores are in the 600s... Why would you assume you would get that 700 mark. I would practice more until you are consistently scoring in the low 700s. A 680 seems right on mark for where you should have scored based on your practice ...

Both D and E sound extremely awkward.. not sure why they are wrong. A seems to be good. Is A the correct answer?

My first Diagnostic test was a manhattan gmat cat. I got a 530. 3 months of practice later I was scoring 700-740s on manhattan cats. I got nervous, choked and didn't do well on the actual one so I am retaking. Point is- with enough practice 700's is doable.

Ya- most people dont put stats into that group of questions. Stats you have to know well- especially because it involves averages and many other components, it really can include all types of math. Comb and probabiliy, however, are very few and I had two combination questions on my total of 3 tests ...

You have to try a few different ways and do what works for you. The 2nd time I took the test I listened to other people by moving on after two minutes, kept being so focused on timing that I just coudn't focus on the questions- your always worrying about the time - I got a 38 in quant that time. I r...

MUST READ for all people who have TEST ANXIETY

TO ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE TEST ANXIETY, HAVE ALWAYS SCORED BAD ON STANDARDIZED TESTS AND HAVE GIVEN UP! I posted a much longer post about my experiences in the beat the gmat section. I'm going to write an abridged version. In short, after studying with a tutor for a few months and scoring in the 700-74...

I used the OG's and mgmat. I didn't really study RC and CR. When I went through them originally I was doing very well, unless I didn't understand the passage, which did happen sometimes- nothing you can do about that. The thing is, before my 2nd attempt, I was consistent. I was studying gmat non sto...

My scores have been literally all over the place.

I have taken the gmat 3 times and have had an insane experience. 1st Attempt. The first time I took the gmat I was not prepared for it. I had signed up for it a few months beforehand and I took it to get the first time jitters out of the way. I was pretty relaxed, I think, since I knew it was just a...

1. I would say the first one. We are still happy- full clause, although we have no money cannot be by itself so it has to be attached by a comma.

2. I don't think either of those are correct. I thin it should be " mary has a car, motorbike and bicycle.

I don't even think there is anything wrong grammatically with E. The only thing that maybe I would be cautious about is by the , and IT... if your starting the new sentence it should say , and the publisher will sell them online.... But A is clearly more concise and well worded.
